Combs High School is recognized for its excellent Advanced Placement program where teachers have worked diligently to increase AP course and dual enrollment offerings to all students. The increase in student participation, achievement, test scores, and programs to bring more students to rigorous coursework was also noted by the Lead and Inspire review panel.
On Friday, April 8 the ‘Lead and Inspire Honorable Mention’ award will be presented to Mrs. Vanessa Whitlark, Assistant Principal of Combs High School, along with other school administration and Governing Board members who will be in attendance to accept the award.
Congratulations to Combs High School on being recognized as a school that has worked hard to achieve much in just a few short years. Combs High School has set a high standard for other schools to model. A successful school is always seeking ways to be better and is a welcoming place where teachers work together to help students achieve. Administrators and staff of Combs High School are to be complimented for their dedication, their efforts as a staff to build challenging programs, and the support they offer students and parents.
